Permit fees and worked estimates
Only a December 8, 2016 official fee sheet was recovered for numerical examples. Current fee documents were blocked. These figures are historical benchmarks, not current 2026 estimates.
| Trade | Permit fee | License fee |
|---|---|---|
| Electrical service and rewiring | Current electrical fee not verified; excluded from the worked example. The historical 2016 building sheet includes electrical review/inspection in its valuation-based building scope; obtain the current actual assessment. | State and applicable City credential assessment |
| Heaters, fixtures and piping | Current plumbing fee not verified; excluded from the worked example. Current plumbing assessment must come from the City; the recovered 2016 minimum is not a current heater price. | State specialty schedule |
| Heating and cooling replacements | Current mechanical fee not verified; excluded from the worked example. Obtain current equipment and associated permit charges; no 2026 rate is inferred from the historical sheet. | State contractor assessment |
| Fire and agency coordination | Current fire fee not verified; excluded from the worked example. Obtain Fire-system assessment separately; historical building text does not establish Fire inclusion. | System-specific credential assessment |
| Building and Public Works coordination | Historical December 8, 2016 sheet: building minimum $205 plus valuation assessment; commercial/multifamily grading review $415 + $20.50 per acre. Not current quotes. | State and applicable City business assessment |
Submission checklist
Homeowner and codes
Confirm owner eligibility for each scope. City guidance identifies new structures, additions, alterations and replacement equipment as permit work. The current official EOA FAQ links Clariti application/account guidance and online payments; incentive participation does not replace permits or code compliance.
Inspections and closeout
Arrange required Building and trade stages and relevant Public Works/Fire acceptance. Keep approved documents accessible and resolve corrections. Complete applicable final and occupancy approvals; any separate incentive reimbursement also requires its own compliance evidence.
