Submission checklist
Homeowner and codes
Use the City owner-builder checklist rather than assuming ownership exempts permits. Work is reviewed under the applicable adopted building and trade requirements. Changed codes or ordinances can require new permits rather than renewal of an expired record.
Inspections and closeout
An approved inspection establishes continuing progress and moves the stated expiration date 180 days. Request extensions before expiry, keep concealed work accessible for inspections and obtain final approvals rather than merely submitting an inspection request.
