Permit fees and worked estimates

The retrieved seven-page City change table distinguishes rates effective July 1, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Use the final 2026 column, not earlier phase-in rates.

Two separate applications each assessed the listed preliminary building permit review component: 2 × $150 = $300. This is only that review-service component, effective July 1, 2026; excludes permit issuance, trade, impact, inspection and other agency fees. Assumes the City applies that service to both applications; not a combined project quote.

Submission checklist

Confirm the property, use and all building/trade scopes.
Use the applicable City application checklist.
Include contractor credentials or the residential homeowner exemption.
Identify other agency reviews and retain each permit’s inspection list.

Homeowner and codes

Residential building applications by owners require the posted homeowner exemption form. That form is not proof of eligibility for every regulated trade. Verify CIB credentials and current City building/zoning and trade provisions.

Inspections and closeout

Use the required inspections list supplied with the issued permit and the City’s online, phone or text scheduling instructions. Complete corrections and all applicable building, trade and Fire/occupancy approvals.
