Permit fees and worked estimates

Actual current City-hosted Municode sections 43-91 and 43-92 were reviewed; history includes Ordinance 44525 dated December 23, 2025. The review deposit is credited toward the permit under the stated six-month conditions.

Assumed ordinary $10,000 building valuation: $41 + 8 × $9.53 = $117.24 base building permit component. Review deposit = 25% × $117.24 = $29.31, credited if section 43-92 conditions are met; do not total it as an extra permanent fee. Checked October 12, 2026. Excludes trades, occupancy, technology, special inspections and other fees; special qualifying dwelling rules can change the assessment.

Homeowner and codes

Confirm any owner permit eligibility with the City for each discipline. City building, trade and occupancy requirements remain applicable. Avoid substituting an unrelated Nebraska jurisdiction’s fees or homeowner rules.

Inspections and closeout

Keep approved plans available and arrange required building and trade stages. Additional trips and plan addenda can trigger assessments. Complete occupancy requirements; a temporary certificate has its own conditions and time limit.
