Permit fees and worked estimates

The actual FY 27 EZ/administrative schedule states July 1, 2026. The estimator includes only base building permit and plan review, not the full project assessment.

Listed residential EZ heater components: $45 water heater scope + $45 permit issuance = $90. July 1, 2026 schedule. Assumes an eligible residential EZ water heater; excludes application charges, other-department review, added piping/electrical work and other fees. Confirm the total assessment.

Submission checklist

Select residential/commercial and the correct permit type.
Use City site-plan and scope-specific submittal guidelines.
List contractor/owner details and the full trade scope.
Include revisions/support documents requested by each department.

Homeowner and codes

Confirm the owner applicant route and contractor credentials for each trade. The City page states 2024 building codes and 2023 NEC adoption, with new plans accepted only under 2024 building editions from January 1, 2026. Do not mix code editions within a project.

Inspections and closeout

Complete the required inspections and any acceptance testing. Retain the approved plans and correct permit records, then confirm final/occupancy requirements. A temporary occupancy fee is a distinct service, not proof the project qualifies for temporary use.
