Submission checklist

Check property, use and home-improvement scope.
Select the correct SPUR application type.
Use the minor-addition/remodel packet where applicable.
Include contractor or owner information and any required site plans.

Homeowner and codes

Use the City Home Improvement guidance and adopted building-code resources. Arizona owner-builder exemptions are conditional; verify ROC scope for hired contractors. Minimum permits rely on inspection to verify installation rather than waiving code compliance.

Inspections and closeout

Construction is inspected against approved plans and adopted City codes. Arrange required finals and obtain the applicable occupancy certificate; a permit without inspections is not completion.
